Improvements to Main Street & Woodbridge Center Drive
Project Features:
- Eliminated the traffic signal at the intersection of Main Street and Woodbridge Center Drive by replacing the at-grade intersection with a grade-separated interchange, thereby removing opposing traffic movements.
- Upgraded the approach roadways to state-of-the-art design standards, including the addition of new, dedicated turning lanes.
- Substantially reduced the frequency and severity of traffic accidents at the convergence of Main Street and Woodbridge Center Drive through improved geometry and traffic operations.
- Provided pedestrian-friendly facilities throughout the project area to enhance safety, accessibility, and multimodal connectivity.
